Pre-Sales Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Sales Engineer to join our US-based sales activities. This role will serve as a consultant for both pres-sales and post-sales and technical services, responsible for providing subject-matter expertise on application security solutions and deployments. The position will require driving technical relationships with all stakeholders i.e. developers, DevOps, DevSecOps and Security engineers, while supporting sales opportunities. The candidate will work closely with the customers and our engineering team to ensure that all of the customers technical needs are understood and met successfully. 

What You Will Do

  • Leading our Proof-of-Concept (POC) trails with our worldwide customers.

  • Working very closely with prospects during the design, implementation and integration of SecureNative solutions.

  • Providing pre and post sale assistance for sales opportunities and partners, including onboarding, setting, installations, troubleshooting, and training of SecureNative platform.

  • Responding effectively to technical Proposals/RFIs/RFPs while serving as the main technical point of contact.

  • Leading technical engagements with Developers, DevOps, SecOps, or DevSecOps and Security teams within prospects and customers.

  • Acting as primary point of escalation of technical issues for the Sales team

  • Consulting and being the technical expert in the application security field.


  • Hands-on experience with solution sales and deployments of security or monitoring solutions within AWS, GCP, Azure, or Kubernetes environments.

  • 5+ years as a leading solutions architect or sales engineer within cybersecurity or enterprise SaaS security.

  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure as a code (Terraform / CloudFormation / Kubernetes).

  • Ability to assess customer requirements, identify business problems, and demonstrate proposed solutions.

  • Proven record of working on sales opportunities with enterprise software products or services.

  • Excellent communicator with proven abilities to explain new technologies in clear, easy to understand terms to executives as well as the ability to engage partners, product management, and systems engineers at a technical level.

  • Knowledge of general security practices, regulatory compliance requirements, organizational structures, and corporate cultures.
